Privacy Policy

MAKERS YARD COMPANY LIMITED (the “Company”) handles personal data collected through tiệm note (the “Site”) as set out below, in accordance with Vietnam’s Law on Personal Data Protection (Law No. 91/2025/QH15) and its implementing decrees and, where applicable, Japan’s Act on the Protection of Personal Information.
1. Information we collect and purposes of use
The Site has no membership or newsletter registration. There is a report form for telling us about shops, but it is anonymous and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number or other contact details. We hold personal data only when you contact us by email, when a report form submission contains personal content, and in the form of technical records when you browse the Site.

- If you use the Favorites, stamps or notes features, those records are stored only in the browser on your device and are not sent to the Company.
- Please do not include your name or contact details in the report form. If they are included, we will delete them after review. We cannot reply to submissions made through the report form.
- For photos sent via the report form, location data (where the photo was taken) and other metadata are removed in your browser before sending, and removed again when we receive them. If photos sent by email contain location data, we also remove it before publication.
- When the report form is submitted, the sender’s IP address is used temporarily at that moment to prevent repeated submissions within a short time, but it is not recorded or stored.
- We do not collect sensitive information such as precise location, financial information or health information.
2. Consent
- Information you send by email or through the report form is used only for the purposes above, within the scope of what you have sent. Before you submit the report form, we ask you to agree to this Policy and the Terms of Use.
- You may request at any time that we stop using or delete the information you have sent us by contacting privacy@tiemnote.com. Because the report form is anonymous, we cannot identify who sent a submission. When requesting deletion, please tell us the date you sent it, the shop and the content (for photos, the page on which it is published).
- If you are under 16, please obtain the consent of your parent or guardian before contacting us.
3. Use of external services and transfer abroad
The Site entrusts the storage and processing of personal data to the following external services, whose servers are located outside Vietnam (mainly in the United States).

Please refer to each service’s public information regarding the personal information protection regime of the destination country and each provider’s security measures. The Company ensures proper handling by its service providers by reviewing contracts and terms of use. We do not provide or sell personal data to any other third party without your consent (except as required by law). We also do not provide visitors’ personal data to listed shops.
4. Cookies and analytics
The Site’s analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) do not use cookies or other on-device identifiers. They only aggregate pages viewed, referrers, device types and similar data in a form that does not identify individuals. We do not use tags for ad delivery or tracking.
To deliver the site and prevent unauthorized access, Cloudflare processes technical information such as IP addresses during communication. On the report form, Cloudflare Turnstile processes technical information about your browser and device to determine whether a submission is made by a bot. This information is not used for advertising or tracking.
Favorites, stamps and notes are saved using your browser’s storage feature (local storage). This information stays on your device and is not sent to the Company. You can delete it at any time from your browser settings.
5. Retention period
- Emails and contact details for inquiries and information submissions: 1 year after the matter is closed. The submitted information itself is kept, in a form that does not identify individuals, as part of the update history of the listing information.
- Report form content and photos: deleted 1 year after we decide whether to reflect them. Published photos are kept while they are published and for 1 year after publication ends. Content that has been reflected is kept, in a form that does not identify individuals, as part of the update history of the listing information.
- Aggregated analytics: retained in accordance with Cloudflare’s retention period. The Company does not store access records in a form that identifies individuals.
6. Your rights
You may make the following requests regarding your own personal data. Please send requests by email to privacy@tiemnote.com. After verifying your identity, we will respond within the period prescribed by law.
- Access to and disclosure of your data, and correction
- Withdrawal of consent, restriction of use, and deletion
- Requesting explanations about processing, and filing complaints
If you are dissatisfied with how we handle your request, you may also file a complaint with Vietnam’s authority responsible for personal data protection (the Ministry of Public Security) or with Japan’s Personal Information Protection Commission.
7. Security measures
- We limit the staff who can access personal data and use two-factor authentication on our accounts.
- Communications are encrypted (HTTPS).
- In the event of a personal data breach or similar incident, we will report it to the authorities and notify the affected individuals in accordance with the law.
8. Revisions
Any changes will be announced on this page. Before launching any new feature that involves collecting personal data, such as a newsletter or membership, we will revise this Policy in advance and ask for your consent again when you use that feature.
