What kind of shop?
A sister shop of amaï run under a separate brand, on the 2nd floor of 76 Đồng Khởi Street (amaï is on the ground floor). It stocks plenty of ethnic and handmade crafts not only from Vietnam but from across Asia, including Thailand and India. Rolls of indigo-dyed hemp woven with Hmong patterns and a wall of colorful woven bags catch the eye. There’s another branch in District 2 (Thảo Điền, 83 Xuân Thủy) worth a look too.
